Each year in August in conjunction with Queensland Walks is Queensland Walks Month where a particular area is showcased for its walk variety from urban walking to recreational walking.
2022
Queensland Walks Month in August 2022, was held in the Scenic Rim Region with urban walking and recreational walking on established trails plus planned trails. This proved a huge success with people from all over South East Queensland coming to enjoy the area, with a number never having been to the area.
2023
During Queensland Walks Month in August, we are showcasing a variety of walks in Redlands: from urban walking settings to recreational walking in conjunction with Queensland Walks and various walking and bushwalking groups:

- Glasshouse Bushwalkers Club Inc.
- Bushwalking Adventures Queensland Inc.
Walk Registration:
To register for a walk go to the 2023 page and follow the links to the walks of interest. On the walk description page is the link for the registration form. As numbers will be capped the sooner booked the better the guarantee you will be on the walk.
Walk fees:
For the purpose of insurance under the Bushwalking Australia Inc. Insurance Scheme, the fees are as follows:
If you are a member of a club affiliated with Bushwalking Queensland Inc. — $0.00
If you are NOT a member of a club affiliated with Bushwalking Queensland Inc. — $5.00 per person
There are two ways to pay: EFT – details on the registration form OR cash on the day.
